Spanish blog muycomputer has brought Zune Phone rumors back to light, claiming that Microsoft will be unveiling the long-rumored Zune Phone at Mobile World Congress 2010. According to their inside source, the Zune Phone will be introduced by Microsoft with NVIDIA by its side, featuring an NVIDIA Tegra processor, leading muycomputer to surmise that the handset will indeed be a Zune HD with phone and PDA functionality probably provided courtesy of Windows Mobile 7. This is backed up by a comment made by CFO Peter Klein during MSFT's earnings call where he mentioned that Microsoft’s “next mobile operating system” would be announced “in a few weeks.”
The Nexus One is coming to AT&T soon, with evidence above coming out of the FCC of an unknown mobile phone with the FCC ID NM899110. The NM8 is the FCC Grantee code for HTC while 99110 is the model. People who rock a Nexus One and have a penchant for studying FCC labels would notice that the FCC ID for this mystery handset is only a single digit away from the FCC ID of the current Nexus One (NM899100) currently on T-Mobile's network. Excited? Probably as excited as current iPhone users are with their network coverage.
While AT&T customers wait for the Android-powered Motorola BACKFLIP to launch in the U.S. in March, China consumers can order one today directly from Motorola China. Unlocked, the ME600 BACKFLIP is priced at 4,298 Chinese yuan (or $629 USD) and includes an 8GB memory card and a car charger. When launched in the U.S., the BACKFLIP is expected to cost somewhere around the $200 range, after carrier subsidies.

Claiming the two devices are "completely identical," the very first thing I did when I looked at the above image was spit my coffee all over my laptop screen (Microsoft Windows OS vs iPhone 4.0 OS). Yes, both devices have a 10-inch screen, but the P88 uses resistive touch while the iPad uses a multi-touch screen. The Chinese devices also includes a 250GB hard drive, a Webcam, and is thicker and heavier than the iPad. With a 1.5-hour battery life, the iPad claims 10 hours of usage with a 1 month standby.
